The wood isn't great, but they should actually spend a little more time raking or shaping the lead-ins because they were flattened pretty good when I was there on Sat.

I was there on Saturday, I found the C rail to be pretty sharp turn. It took me a few times to get, then I decided to do the C in the other direction and landed knees on rail. That was the end of the day. If I can figure how to upload pictures into forums, I have a a shot of Nakiska's C rails...

Does anyone know what Nakiska has right now? I'm thinking of going tomorrow since Louise and Sunshine haven't done anything yet...

I'd rather spend two days at COP than one day in Louise's park. Same price. If you're going just for the park...

The Keystone stop is for the all-day park experience, and that's it. I've heard lots of good about Breck for both terrain and park, and the 'an overall awful mountain' seems a little harsh. And the bowls of Vail are famous, so I gotta go see what all the hype is about...

I didn't say that the Lake's park was crap, I said that places like Vail, Breck, Keystone, June, Mammoth, Copper, etc. have parks that make the Lake's look like Sunshine's (which IS crap) I think that COP and Nakiska both have half decent parks that are comparable to Louise's.

Does anyone know if the BBQ rail at A51 is lit every night? Or is that something they save for filming?

Which of Vail's three parks are you talking about? The one serviced by its own high speed quad? Vail isn't known for its parks anyway, Breck and Keystone have parks that put the Lake's to shame. And all three resorts are within a half hour of each other.

The back bowls of Vail seem to be worth a look, Keystone for A51, and Breck for both park/terrain...

Comparing the Lake's park to Sunshine is like comparing carp to shit. The Lake's park is okay, but not even close to what any given resort in the States would have... Sunshine's park is useless... I think COP is where it's at...
