you need a SICK SICK machine to run that program smoothly and without crashing. even on the G5 dual processor towers with 2gb of ram i have at school, its not the best. technically my powerbook meets all the requirements, but it doesn't run well. its a sick program on a beast of a machine though.

PS7 is pretty old... i use CS and CS2, so i can't help you there. try searching download.com or google for like "free RAW reader" or something. check the box the camera came with, i know it comes with a RAW reader.

what kind of camera? you need a RAW reader program that handles the files from your particular camera. many cameras come with such a program. canon SLRs do. iphoto for mac does not read RAW files. Photoshop requires a plug-in for many cameras.
