    Skeletool shorts are not bulky. You'll never even notice them under your pants. I did bust out the pad that is right where your pant pockets would be and trimmed the top half off. Before I cut it, that pad was making it harder to lift my leg for grabs, hiking in powder and peeing on snowboarders.

    The 3D buckle has nothing to do with flex, if that is what you're talking about, cj. The XWave 10 (which I also have) is generally considered a relatively stiff boot.
