I'm having some trouble finding racks for an 2005 Ford Explorer...most specs say the crossbar's diameters must not exceed 3 1/2 inches. My cross bars are close to 5 inches in diameter. Any advice on how to work around this (new brackets,new crossbars,etc.?)

Got an 05' Explorer debating wether or not I want a Thule box or rack... How do they compare price wise? Durability? convenience? Protection? Storage? What do you guys prefer? Any suggestions of other ski racks/boxes that are't made by Thule

Anyone got any suggestions? We all know it's easy to find cheap wayferer style shades for under $20 ( Dang shades, knockarounds) but none of these glasses are polarized which really sucks. Does anybody know of POLORIZED wayferer style shades for under $40?

my dalbello voodos are too stiff, i'm only 130 pounds so not heavy enough to flex them so i was thinking about taking a heat gun and heating up the plastic on the tongue in an effort to soften it and make it weaker....kinda like a quicker way of breaking them in...I have a friend that did it and...
