i have come across some fks 155 for a pretty good price the only problem is that they have a race plate on them my question is: can i take the toe and heelpieces off the plate and use them regularly without the plate??

im 6'2 and about 175 i ski about 50% groomed, 25% park, and 25% powder i dont charge all the time but i dont want them to prerelease i was thinkin the axial2 120s is this too little for me?? should i get the 140's??
