If two boots have the same shell length (not size) is the line for mounting in the same place on both boots, or does the location usually vary from boot to boot?

I'm looking at the 178 cm Skogen Sprang Pro Model, and wondering if it might be too long? I am about 5'8" and 115-120 pounds. I do alot of all mountain skiing, including ice and bumps in the east. I am pretty agressive, but do not want to end up with a ski that I just can not handle. Please...

161cm Salomon XScream, used less than 20 days, but I have outgrown them. In solid condition, regularly waxed and tuned. Edges were recently sharpened, and there is plenty of edge left. No core shots, never touched a rail with them. Skied mostly eastern bumps with these, and it was a breeze...

How stiff are the old Line Skogen Sprangs compared to, like, Volkl Karmas or something?

Anyone want to trade their Rossi Axial/Look PX wide breaks for my regular brake (mine are ~76 mm at narrowest point, I am looking for something around 90 mm)?

I just bought rossi Axial 120 pro ti bindings ($99 at REI), and They come with 6 mm lifters. Should I put these on, as designed? I have heard something about the advantages of not lifting bindings? What should I do? I don't do rails, but other than that do everything.

How does the Rossignol Axial2 120 Ti Pro stack up as a binding? DIN will not be an issue for me as I am fairly small? Would I be better off with that or something like the Look PX12 Ti?

Which all mountain skis can rip better on eastern ice and icy bumps? I need to decide between Volkl Karmas and Line Chronic Wides, I thought the lines would be too soft.

I heard that this year's Chronic Wide is the same ski as last year's Skogen Sprang. Is that true? I thought the chronics were softer than the skogens.

I'm looking at buying new skis sometime this offseason, which should I buy? I'm looking at Volkl Karmas or Line Prophet 80s. Any comments? I need stiffness for the days I get stuck ripping on ice, but also want width for crud and powder. I also want solid skis that won't crap out on me after...
