Having watched much JOI footage this weekend I ventured onto YouTube and saw some old 2010 JOI videos. The team NS one got me wondering what happened to Matt Walker. Literally haven't seen him since 2011 X Games. Can anyone shed any light?
I am hyped. I'm off to Peisey, Les Arcs on Friday for a month and resort opening's on Saturday. I'm getting reports from friends out there that it's been dumping for the last few days. Opening day's going to be a pow pow day. Whoop.
Yes. Haven't been to the mountains at all this winter. Instead I've been quietly biding my time while I've been studying the last 2 months for an important exam. Now I have 5 weeks off work and I'm off to spend them all in Val d'Isere as of tomorrow. Win. PS - Get to see winter X in Tignes. Bo!
Planning on pre-ordering Refresh, but I'm inclined to think pre-order deliveries will only extend to the USA & Canada. Anyone in a position of knowledge? The "shipping and handling" link on their store's website is "coming soon".
Landed my first "proper" switch 3 today. Floated the fuck out of it and afterbanged it too. Soo chuffed. Felt really nice. Another trick added to the repetoire. :)
What is it?
I'm too busy skiing to really care or know what all the tricks are...
Is this just taking off and landing switch without doing much in between?
Reason I ask is because I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mOKANlizVQ
I haven't seen anyone else doing stuff like that. He's throwing switch ups down HUGE urban rails, and I don't even have a clue what his 1 foot slide on that box rail is all about?!
Who makes them
I went skiing last weekend and notice my helmet had loads of knowck on it and perhaps it's time for a new one.
saw some kids at the slope with helmets that look like a new era cap made out of plastic if that makes any sense.
does anyone know who makes them and where i should be...
Lost my goggles in the last week of the season last year and need a new pair for this coming winter. I can't be arsed with lots of pairs. Does anyone know of a pair you can buy with interchangable lenses that will work in both flat light and bright sunshine?
