i was just wondering what the major differences in these helmets were. if i decided to wear a wakeboard helmet or a skate helmet in the park and i smoked my head, would one of these helmets protect me as much as a ski helmet?

ok me and some friends are planning on goin to whistler this summer for a month, and we just found out that the lifts to the glacier only opens to the public at 11 and closes at 3. for camps and stuff, apparently it opens at 7. now it takes almost an hour up to the glacier, so that leaves close...
