I can’t find much info on Sights? They are marketed as a stiff ski, but I have also heard that they are surprisingly soft. Does anybody know how they compare to Poachers, for example?

Had a partial binding pullout. Got it fixed with inserts, but the ski lasted only a day. Now I'm going to completely remount the bindings in hopes of getting the skis through this season. But could it be that the core is toast, because the insert didn't hold?

I was fixing my beater K2’s, but I had a permanent marker close by and oh well… So the question is, do I need some kind of clear coat to cover it, and if I do, what kind? I roughed up the surface of the skis with some sandpaper and cleaned them before drawing, if it matters. Pics are related

So I could get a good deal on those skis, but I’m wondering should I go for 172 or 179? I am around 182cm tall. I would pretty much only use them for carving on groomers. Thanks in advance!
