Going to Colorado in February with family(2 adults, 2 kids), we plan on bringing our boots, but I was debating bringing our skis or renting, but it might be a hassle at the airport and fitting into the rental car(midsize suv). Other worry is if there is an issue, I dont want to lose time...

Mainly will be on piste skiing but would like the option of venturing and maybe building on that more and more. I am looking at the Ranger 85 181 or the Sin7 188 At 6ft3 and 220 which will be better for me and mai ly east coast skiing or should I be looking more at an Atomic Vantage?
