i might be getting a pair of burton pants that are the storm lite 2.0 fabric. They say they're 8000mm waterproof. Should i get a pair that are the 3.0 fabric with 10000mm or is 8000 good enough?

Do you have to mount your skis with your exact boot or can you use the same size boot from the same company and get the same result. Im getting my PE's and look p10's mounted, but want to ski the same day so i want them to use some other boots. Anybody know if its possible?

Ive heard that orage's waterproofing is pretty good, but the jibij site says their puffy is 15000mm and most of their pants are 20000mm. Is it actually less than those numbers or is orage really that good I ski Killington College passes are awesome
