I'm buying a house in Graham with my son to
get him in a better setting esp for my grandson who's 1 1/2 months. Be there weekend after Thanksgiving. Thought I'd bring tele gear and get insome conditioning
climbing at Crystal. Some areas don't allow for that but I think if it's in Nat'l...
Plunked down my $120 bucks. Bluebird day boot top to thigh deep and pretty sick lines. They have around a 150' snowpack. Snow is up to the eaves of the houses in Silverton. Definitely worth the price of admission.
Maybe fly in Feb on the cheap. What are good combos
of Intnatl airports, public transport to good skiing
and hostel = lodging?
Also can I skin up at resorts?
I'm heading out on a road trip. Targhee, Big Sky, Disco, Big Mtn. 3/20-3/28.
I'm old school and not much into rails. I love steeps and sicker terrain. Probably checking out
Missoula as have friends there.
80-100 ' of snow. my bro works at the lodge. frequent avalanches running off the ridge onto the lower slopes. snowmobile stuck right in front of the lodge. crazed
Sick lines all over all the steeps. Sled necks hauling skiers and boarders, Bell mtn
well on the way to be all tracked out. People were dropping some pretty radical
stuff for this time of year in the mine dumps. Lifts run next sat.
the 2' they got has settled out to about a foot. All 3 of my pups are tits up in front
of the woodstove right now. I'll be in the jacuzzi shortly. Oh by the way I logged several hundred
powder turns today. What did YOU do?
