My friend sent me an article about it, the gist is that the area will be avalanche and safety monitored and all users will have to skin up in order to ride around so there isn't any chairlifts. It would cost $50 to access the terrain. Personally they shouldn't be calling it "Backcountry"...

Every year the costs go up, its ridiculous. Like $100+ for a day pass is the norm now, why? Where does the money go? What justifies the yearly increase for prices?

I'm just looking into buying a used pair of skis - the bindings that are on them are 2016 Atomic warden's and are currently setup for a size 25/26 boot. My boot is a size 28 and I'm wondering if the wardens have enough adjustment range to accommodate my boot or am I sol? Thanks
