Why "Jerry"?

I grew up doing mountain and back-county but now I only really do park. I noticed that there is a bunch of hate on park skiers because they never ski any real terrain. Why do they care so much though? The whole point of freeskiing is to do what you want.

I've been sending in resumes to a couple of companies lately and they all have said they're not adding to their team right now. Are they actually not adding to there team or do they just want to say you're not good enough for sponsorship in a nice way?
