I want to make my J skis softer. They've been pretty stiff this season. is there a way i can like break them in and make them softer?

This season i have purchases a slightly wider park ski(J skis) and i can't seem to scissor anymore, i can't front 2 out or do switch up and i can barely grip the rail. Just wondering there is any tips with a wider ski? And I'm also wondering if i detune my edges will i be able to scissor better?

Im decided I'm going to purchase some J skis. Should i get the inspired model or the Cats in Space model? i kinda think i like the cats graphic better but I'm not sure. And also should i center mount them? on the website it says 2 back from center for boot mount so I'm not sure.
