I recently bought a Smith Maze helmet, but haven't worn it yet. I want to wear it with a beanie and goggles under, but in order to do this I have to take out all of the liner pads. Will this make the helmet not as safe in the case of a crash? I want the helmet to be as safe as possible. Thanks.
