I have oneballjay rub-on X-wax and on their site it says it's good for all temperatures. Good. What I want to know is wether or not it hydrates your bases to rub in a rub-on wax. It's in solid form so I don't expect the pores in the bases to absorb it like hot (melted) wax.

71cm of fresh snow on whistler. We now have a 190cm base and although ski out isn't much of an option yet, more snow is on the way. A lot of more snow. The only downside is now a lot of places are under flood-watch.

So, I was skiing pow yesterday with some friends and some of the snow lower down was sticky and loaded up their top-sheets. One of them said "I wish I had waxed my top-sheets"... Would that work? Rub on wax? Melt on? On what surfaces?
