a lot of this stems from the fact that skiers deny skiings relation to rollerblading and rather be related to snowboarding and skateboarding. calling it switch relates it to boardsports which fakie relates it to rollerblading. ignorance.

ya i spin right normally but i feel more comfortable skiing fakie looking over my left sholder. just takes practice, try going down the hill looking over your spinning shoulder for a couple of runs and it will feel mroe natural.
