I'm just now getting a touring set up after saving for a long time, and I'm wondering what skins work the best without having to go over the top with spending money. After I take an avalanche class I'll probably be climbing some pretty steep stuff. Any recommendations?

Snapped the other knuckling a 30 footer switch last year. I has no delamination, no core shots, no edge cracks, but some pretty big base scratches. Also the top sheet is chipped up but none of the flaws should effect the skis performance. $25, buyer pays shipping. PM for pics

So I've been looking at Trekkers for a while mostly because of their inexpensive price for a touring binding (if they count as a binding), but I'm wondering how well they perform? Are they a pain to take on and off? Do they work good on steep terrain? Any sort of feedback about them would be great.
