Forget the other stuff, just attack a screwdriver end to the bottom of the handle that slides into the rest of the pole. That way the handle is the driver, you just have to unscrew it from the rest of the pole.

That would be hard, because I have horses and they dont run very good on ice. They lose their ballance throwing you off balance, so you cant get a lot of style. Maybe if you put some ski blades on the horses?

I am going to send a video of me doing a 5050 on a 2 foot wide, 3 foot long box going about 3 mph with no poles, to rossignol and ask them for a sponsorship. Do you think I will get it?
