    Whistler Summer Riding

The Camp of Champions park is pretty sick but when I was there two years ago the public park didn't really look like much.

    ski size jumping

My ^^^ comment was based on the fact that you are fairly average height and not some 6'7in behemoth or some 4'5in little person.

    ski size jumping

Yeah, I used to always ride skis that were a lot taller than me. As long as you are a good enough skiier you should be able to perform well on any ski you ride.

whats the trick to throwin a 360 on a huge jump?

Basically to throw 3's off bigger jumps you just throw your body with less torque. Instead of winding up a ton of smaller jumps to get the rotation just don't wind up as much. Because you have more air time that little bit of torque allows you to spin the full 360.

BEST TAHOE PARK IN A WEEK?

Northstar's park is really really nice so far. They just opened their superpipe today and they have numerous hits and tons of rails and boxes up.

    San Fran to Mammoth/Squaw?

How the hell does it take you 4 hours to get to Squaw. I live in the East Bay and Saturday morning at 5am I can make it up in 2 1/2 hours. On a good day during the winter it takes 3 hours. In a snow storm it takes 4.

    Northstar this weekend

How can you not call Northstar a real resort. It has one of the best parks in Tahoe and if you know where to go you can get some excellent powder.

    CANDIDES

I rode the Candides for 1.5 years and I was very, very pleased with them (I had the 165cm's). They are an excellent park ski ok in crud, and they are good in powder that is less than 1.5ft. deep and if you weight less than 160lbs. They are a little sketchy on ice going high speeds (I hit a death...

    San Fran to Mammoth/Squaw?

A long, long time to mammoth, maybe 5 hours or more (I think). Only 3 hours to squaw.

    360's

Depending on the foot you are landing on I would try throwing a safety to the opposite side in order to bring your body even. I did something similar at the beginning of last year. Good luck.

    1080s SUCK!!!

I have a feeling I know who this Squawkid fag is. All I have to say is that you don't deserve to ski and if I see you in any comps in Tahoe you are going to get the crap beat out of you. Also, you give Armadas a bad name.

if you are truely bored, read this

That essay was hella sick. It had it's typos and errors but the essay itself was amazing. That is magazine quality. You should try and send it into Freeze or Freeskier or something and see if they print it.

    help with park design?

Check out frontside T.V. of whatever it is called. They have bios of a lot of the nice parks out west and they show AutoCad like drawings and pictures of each hit. They have every single terrain feature in the order that it is placed on the trail map so you can get some nice ideas of how to make...

windells vs high north vs coc

I went to CoC two years ago and it kicked ass. They had the best terrain of any of the parks on the glacier by far. They had hits for every ability (their biggest was a 70ft. table) and they also have a ton nice jibs and an excellent pipe. Plus they have really nice facilities at the hotel you...

    Northstar vs. sierra

Northstar plans to have 10 jibs and 2 jumps up this weekend. I doubt it will be that crowded the first weekend it is open though. Also the superpipe (the one in the pics) won't be up for a few more weeks. What you see there is 30 inches of snow covering a 10-12ft. tall pile of dirt (which is the...

Best place to stay and Ride in Tahoe area?

Spring break for all of the schools in the Bay Area this year is the 2nd week in April so if you came up the second week in March there will be no one anywhere. On the weekends it may get a little crowded at most resorts though. If a storm comes through the week you are here and you want some...

    Northstar this weekend

They just changed the park report on their website and are now scheduled to have 10 jibs and 2 jumps up.

    Northstar vs. sierra

Hey I would definitely hit Northstar up both days. I have been to Sierra and personally I don't like what I saw. It is a pretty long drive from Northshore and the park is small. The only thing I like about it is the Superpipe which is cut very nicely but has a tree you have to go at the start on...
