i think that it's just a change in camber, not a break in the core because the rocker is so gradual. i think you'd be able to tell if your core is snapped. although, i've seen the core snap on armadas with much less effort than you used.

i have your exact setup, and i hate my z12s too.... if you're going to ski hard on em, i'd probably try to get some sths on them, but if you're going to france, i'd just stick with the pipe cleaners and get some powder skis instead of getting another pair of park skis.

Yeah, berns run really small. My friend has an xl and i could barely get it over my head with even a really skinny hat on. I can't get my brother's medium bern on even without any padding in it. It's kind of ridiculous, but i think they make really big sizes too. like 3xl. but it doesn't...

i dunno, 189 is pretty damn big for tight trees... but it's all personal preference i guess... i probably wouldn't get k2 189s even at 6'1" they're just massive. 189s would be great for charging though.

If you're growing then 189 is a possibility, but at your height, a 179 would be much better. I don't know about obsetheds specifically, but i know that k2 sizes funny and that 189 hellbents are at least 194
