A few friends and I are moving to the Kings Beach/Truckee area mid-September, and I found a siiiick huge 4br house, fully furnished, 10 minutes to North* and 25 min to Squaw for $2500 a month... I'm a poor recent UVM graduate just trying to ski bum, so obviously we want to cram a few more people...

yeh I lived in Arizona until I was 13, so I skiied Snowbowl all the time, and also Sunrise a little.... haven't been back in like 10 years though, but it was definitely a cool place to learn. also I have a bunch of friends who go to NAU and they ski snowbowl all the time and love it

i'm in the same situation, kinda inconvenient to carry around my ski shit when i'm backpacking hahah... but yeh I'm guessing there's someplace around there to pick up skis for a couple days... i'll be there in about a week so i'll let you know if i figure somethin out
