Gotama's, pocket rocket, or seth pistols?

Dam, I ski on tennis rackets. The ARV is a more versitile width, and I would not recomend the Gotama for an all mountain ski unless you are an accomplised skier. They are an awsome all mountain ski but unless you have the goods to through a 105cm under foot around, it will ski you all day...

Gotama's, pocket rocket, or seth pistols?

183 Gotama would knock a 189 pistol out so easily. And the whole time the 190 gotama would be backing him up with the sanouk sitting in the corner if the shit really hits the fan. And beleive me we dont want that happening, a 193cm with a 110 waist and swallow tail, he would eat a china made ski...

Gotama's, pocket rocket, or seth pistols?

I looooove my Gotamas. They are the harley davidson of snow skis. If a pair of arv and gotamas had a fight, the gotamas could beat the shit out of the ARVs. better pound for pound. good reach. and has a good left hook, and they have a good jaw on them to take the hits.

What do you think of Jamie Pierres 55m drop?

That man is super sick. He must have masive nuts. That first line he skis is so smooth and he launches so fast off the drop. The 55m cliff may be a little crazy but he walked away from it and 99% of skiers wouldnt. AS for the praising god, each to their own, but go out and huck yourself of the...

    Center mount on Volkl V?

If they are for urban jibs only, center mount them. End of story.

centre mount, or no centre mount?

Ski companies spend big dollars and many hours developing there skis and where best to mount them. Buy moving the binding around it is going to effect the performance of the ski in regard to flex patterns and getting the best performance out of them. I am a backcountry skiier and I still dont...

    chill out

COngratulaitons on the 540. Sounds a litle suspect about the free pass. They have the chill out series each year, although I dont know much about it. Chillout pass are pretty cheap any way so just go out and buy one. I know plenty of rippers that ski the clun fields and I have nevcer heard about...

    Head vs. Völkl

You have made a great selection. Ether way both the mad trix and karma are great skis. The expression is a noodle. I recon volkl just make them so shit skiers can have a ski from the best company, without having to ski a grunty and stiff ski.

The Bias of us Newschoolers...Believe It

Rip Curl is an Australia conpamy so is every where here in new zealand and Australia. It is like alot of the brands you guys use such as siver cartel, we never see here in New Zealand. Rip curl is reasonably priced here, and is good gear. But as rip curl is on the other side of the world, prices...

    2004 Volkl Gotama

I dont know much about the sanouk as there is rummered to be only one pair of them here in New Zealand, but I picked them up for the guy that owns them, and I had a good chance to check them out for a week, although havent skied on them yet. The 2005 madel has a carbon fibre side wall. I am not...

    tyrolia rail flex??

Punters dont care about bindings. As you dont need good bindings because of the terrain you ski, and you would rather upgrade your 155cm noodles than protect you body. I dont know much about the tyrolia bindings, but a mate had a pair that went up to din 11 and they were absolutely shit...
