yeah and its definitely not a camera that would be great for action sports. It comes with a fixed 8x lense :(. both fixed and 8x being the super bummer part of that. THen you have to buy the device what it records to, either the hard drive (which u dont really want if your carrying it around...

last year it snowed in august up there!!! i dont know if that counts as it snowing as late as august or as early as august though. Hmm for us here in central oregon it usually snows a couple times in september up at the mountain.

haha our photographer and music supervisor starts u of o in the fall and is stoked on it. He got like a 3.4 in high school i think. if u want a skiing school look at u of u and msu and unr for sure. all easy to get into

if your trying to post live video as a video stream and feed then your going to need a couple of hardware and software features. if not you can record straight to your computer. External might be pushing it cuz it might not be fast enough
