    Rossignal is going downhill

Yeah - cranking out quality products year after year, decade after decade is a sure sign of impending ruin.

    How is loon now

Thanks for the info. I'll probably be heading up tomorrow and praying for temperatures that are warm enough to prevent the frozen landscape of death. Nice edit (1-22-06)on your site BTW. Not sure if those are 9's or 7's or what that you're throwing but that's some impressive shit.

    How is loon now

Bump. Anyone hit up either Wv or Loon in the last few days? I'm guessing bulletproof but hoping otherwise...

    Wachusett

Not the first choice but that's where I'm heading tomorrow. Anything up? They have zero info about the status of the park on their site.

How are the conditions holding up? I'll be there Monday.

SKI PATROL-- who acutally likes em??

Generally, if the ski patrol is yelling at you, its because you are doing completely stupid, pointless shit like bombing down moderate groomers full of families and beginners, endangering other skiers for the sake of 2 foot airs off of the "jumps" with the blind/flat landings that happen to be...

Favourite Segment In TBC and Why?

Anyone ski Waterville Valley today (Dec. 26th)

Raining all the way to the top of Loon for most of the day today, with spring-like snow/base conditions. I imagine things were pretty similar at Waterville, conditions-wise.

    Loon Tomorrow

Looks warmish and cloudy with very little precip on Saturday, mix of snow and rain on Sunday, and cooler temps with a higher chance of snow on Monday. Just the ticket for getting that ice nice and bulletproof.

    Sweet.

    Loon Tomorrow

How bad are the crowds at Loon during the peak holliday season? I was there on Sunday Monday and for most of the day on Sunday there were lines 10-15 deep for some of the features. I'd like to head up there again either Saturday, Sunday, or Monday - but am wondering if it'll be worth the drive...

    SMUGGS Park is EPIC!

Loon has two smallish jumps up high, two boxes, one A-frame rail, one A-frame box, and one hand-rail up as-of today. Nothing is ski-on.

    Pacific Northwest Trip

They used to have a mini-pipe and a couple of small hits on the run below the Quicksilver chair, about midway down on the skiers left. Wouldn't be missed by anyone if its gone.

    Pacific Northwest Trip

Crystal for terrain and vert. Weak park.

    Progression to 540

Many thanks for the input. As I am a relic from the daffy-era, I'm not sure what a revert 180 is. Is that a 180 where you wait until after the take-off to initiate your rotation? If so - sounds like it could work as a way to build up to a 5.

    Progression to 540

I'm sure it's been covered but search is down so I'll pop the question here. Basically - I'm just curious about how those of who you hit 540's worked your way up to that stage - and if you think a 5 with a switch take-off or a switch landing is easier to hit. I'm comfortable with regular 3's...

    Homemade Rails

Yeah - used it - and didn't find what I was looking for in there so I thought I'd ask for some links on the off chance that I'd get some worthwhile info along with the abuse/reminders about the search bar. Thanks.

    Homemade Rails

Any sites with how-to-info out there? I'm sure that I could come up with something but I'd rather save some time, effort, and cash by using a proven design. Any sites, links, etc? Tried using the search function with every variation on "rails" but didn't come up with much. Thanks.

    Best Parks Near Boston?

Thanks again for all of the info. Looks like it will be Loon/Waterville with the Threedom Pass for the Terrain Parks, and flights back to the West for terrain.
