    Okemo...The NEW Nor' Easter

How big was that first jump in nor'easter last weekend (feb 4th), and is it still open. From the pictures it looks as if it's no longer there :-(

    Lack of S N O W

This is this shittiest winter I've ever seen. We've had less than a foot of natural snow all season.(Troy, NY) Is anyone else as depressed as I am?

    Cliff Jumping

In the town of hadley ny (45 mins from Albany) there is a 70' bridge. There are also jumps anywhere from 5-50 feet. There is a 40' high rope swing as well. The water is extremely deep. http://local.google.com/local?q=hadley+ny&ll=43.316482,-73.842738&spn=0.008929,0.024951&hl=en

    New rule in skiing

Wait, wait, wait... so in order to get into the park you have to clear a step-up gap... I think you're on to something... BRILLIANT! I ski to live

    Okemo park suggestions

Put a handful of smaller jumps and boxes at the top of the run to build yourself up to the big stuff at the bottom. 1,2,3...The main section of Nor’easter should start out with a bang. Start at the service road and put a 60’-80’ step down, a table that kicks you sky high and then a step...

The lengths of everything are my best guesses. The jumps and rails were all perfectly groomed and the crew was out there all day long. All the takeoff's/landing are perfect except for mabye the pair of gap jumps. The tranny feels a little short, but it's still make-able. Blind faith is also...

They just opened most of nor'easter. As of 1/19/05 they have(in order): -25' step down -20' step down -20' step down -spine with rail on top -60' step down(50 feet at very least) -2X 35' step downs with a gap in the middle *wink wink* -20' step up -20' flat-down and 15' log rail -some...

    tail butter with fujative

I've got the same problem, althogh I havn't really tried too hard. Mine are 169's mounted at +3cm(3.5cm back from core I think) and I weigh 150. I can lean back and get the tips up an inch or so when I'm standing still, so I see no reason why I can't do it if I throw more of my weight into it...

    stratton today the 8th

The first jump was too close, so you couldn't hit it. The second jump was good(mabye 45 feet tops) and the 3rd ''70' step up'' was a piece of crap. As of now, I'm not impressed. There were some other smaller jumps in byrnside that were ok. I only saw a few rails out there. they had a C box...

    Big Hits For Big Posers

There was a 70'er at Stratton last year after they re-made the power park. If you tucked from the top you could make it to around 80 feet. The landing was perfect too. An extra 20 feet isn't too much more really. Just lengthen the table and add a few more degrees to the takeoff. And get more...

    u have respect 4 skiboarders

I've destroyed several of those skiblade bindings and my legs are fine. Your legs must be weak. That's my guess anyways. I started with skiblades because I didn't know any better. Now that I know, I will not go back... ever. I ski to live

    pep fujas or public??

Fujis killed my all mtn skiing. They bounce a lot when you ski fast over crud, trust me. They are really solid in the park though. But then again, I would take the park over crud any day. I ski to live

    Skiboards banned in bruno

^^^ Dspin7x you have no idea... My dad bought 2 pair of skiblades for us at $70 each and a night season pass to a hill for $98. I survived on that for about 3 years while learning to toss 3's 7's and some flips. Those skiblades were ALL we could afford. And I managed to stay injury free until...

    Skiboards banned in bruno

^ it may look lame but They sure helped me out. they are a very cheap stepping stone to park skiing. they teach you the essentials first before you get on skis. you learn to control your speed and land center on every hit or you bite it hard. as long as you start small and work your way up they...
