you described the lizzies to a t. i will say that even for being shorter skis they didn't feel too short when i ride them and i like skis around 185... the jjs are going to be a lot stiffer. I've flexed this years, and next to the lizzies i'd say you'd like the lizzies perfectly.

No they changed the core of the skis too. they used different wood. It's a bit softer. as far as the side cut issues go i found them to be great, and very skiiable. if you're coming from anthems they will rock.

I've skied the lizzies a fair bit and although they were soft, the side cut is a different style than most skis which lets it be softer and still have a really good edge hold. If you like to play a lot, and get a lil more creative they'll be a good ski for you. If you're a straight charger...

I LOVE my anthems. I ride the 178s and have skied waist deep pow and steep chutes with them, and they hold up really well. They really aren't that floppy, and the eliptical side cut just shreds differently, but its a really cool turn. They won't be good ice skis, but for the park skier that...

dude, I just moved to missoula. All i could think was thank god I don't have to ski park anymore... The terrain is sick, even if bozeman area is bigger, this shits pretty legit.

full tilt liners hold up great.... and if you find the boot too soft, just get some new tongues. I skied all winter with a 4 flex tongue and it was fine. what people don't understand about the full tilt is that it's VERY stiff side to side, which is what you need for most turning. I rocked...
