Scratch FS and troublemakers would be sweet. I'd say mount a couple cm up from reccomended though, obviously not true center since you wanna be doing a good amount of all mtn, but I think couple cm up would be good

i picked up those lights, exactly what I wanted, glad I went with the 1200 over the 1000 and the ease of setup and mobility is worth my extra $30-40

I remember reading that blue isn't that good, and not very versitile, but someone who has one could offer a better opinion. From what I've tried on and owned -Pink iridium, really versatile, might not be ideal for really sunny days -Fire, really dark, I think you could pull it off quite well...

I think flex charts might show the FS as being somewhat soft, but the pattern/location of where they are soft vs stiff does make them pretty stiff while actually riding. If I remember correctly TMs are pretty stiff underfoot, but the tips were complete noodles for me
