i have the same phone and love it, but have the same problem. my belief is that is is from the battery being loose because sometimes when i set it down after like exting just dropping it lightly on my desk it shuts off. it also does the shut off thing in my pocket. the thing that seems to work...

FACT...dislocated my shoulder last season on last run after i called it and that injury has led to a 6 month recovery from surgery.
