montana state is actually a really good school - close to skiing and they have a great film and photography program.

armada IS financed by this multi-millinonaire guy who likes to finance new companies; plus armada matched all their athletes' previous contracts, so those guys are not hurting. sure the riders have major input, but its not with their own money.

^yeh, armada is new and supposedly by riders - but they've got some millionare guy backing them financially, so for them personally its a no risk venture. some of these other new companies are definitely in it for the love and its all at their own risk - like 4FRNT and sterbenz...

pep def smokes big time. i was standing next to his car when he got out of it at the x games practice day and you coulda gotten high just standing there - he was pretty toasted. i've seen him smoking lots of other times too - plus he's tanners roommate and those guys probably party together...

I know there was a thread about these new skis by Matt Sterbenz awhile back - but does anyone have any new feedback on the skis or the company since Matt has had them up at Whistler? They sound pretty sweet to me, but I'd like to hear what others think...

did you see tanner's WSI pipe performance? he definitely is not the best pipe rider to represent US. he's just not as good as a lot of the other young riders here in the states.

i should have higher points cause one of my skiers is steele and they didn't give any points for the red bull big air in sweden except for 1st through 4th - steele got 5th. i think crighton, dumont and some others were also at that event but none of them got their points on fantasy freeride.

shawn white def more accomplished than tanner. but what is it about these 2 top guys - have to be short and ugly to be at the top? whats with the face mask on shawn?

definitely didn't overshoot the landing. he only landed part way down it, but fell sideways across the slope. no one overshot the landing on the final air at the x. rapps just fell, grabbed his knee and slid down a ways further.

both rapps and booth injured their knee on the final money booter at the x-games - both over rotated their jumps. neither even tried the transfer gap. steele and candide both did the transfer gap, but i think they were the only two.

rapps hasn't kept up with the others - nothing new in the last couple of years. he's on his way out.
