No kidding - it was insane to have anyone ski the course in those conditions. I watched steele in practice and he was throwing switch 7's and 9's and unnatty 7's and 9's and killing the rails. He definitely would have qualified if the course were anywhere near skiable! sucks big time!!!

^ plus the us open is in vail the following weekend, so its only a 2-hour drive to the next event for everybody.

man, aspen is sick. its actually a cool town with a hellava lot of nightlife and 3 other mountains to ski if you want to. aspen moutain is insane if you know where to look. i think its a good choice. i went to it last year and it was so much fun, plus you could see everything from the bottom...
