so if you were 6'1" 185 lbs and had to ski on 174 PEs, would you keep them at +4 to have some ski up front, or move them to +7.5 Ultimately, I'm probably going to convince myself that skiing my first season with a season pass, wanting to spend 85% of my time in the park is going to require...

Here's the pictures... This is the "clearance" I have, they do touch the sides, but they aren't being stopped by the sides, the brakes stop right at the point of contact. This is the inside of the brake plastic hook that has been sawed off and sanded down.

With my PE's (86 wide) I am using the 85 wide breaks. What I did was cut off, then sanded down the inside of the black plastic stopper on the end of the break - which was the part hitting the ski. I didn't cut off the whole thing, just the inside 1/4 of it so the if you run your finger down the...

Would you recommend the troublemakers over the scratches? Ideally I'd like to be able to bring the ski out of the park for all mountain riding 20% of the time...if that means anything between these two. Like I said 99% EC ice/groomers

Well, like I've posted before, I have 174 PE's that I'd love to move from +4 to +7, but maybe the best thing is to just leave them at +4 and ride this season as they are. I picked up a season pass this year, which will increase my park riding from 40% to about 85% which is why I wanted a center...

So pretty much every ski I've been recommended maxes out at 181, yet almost everyone - unless they are trying to sell a 181 ski - is saying to go no lower than a 185cm ski to match my height/weight (6' 1", 185lbs) So if you're over 6 feet tall, average weight, ski only PA/NY on groomers/park...

How are the edges/base on the older/used model?

Hey, I'm selling my 06/07 PE's (with the white/grey graphic). They were used last season for 10-11 days, no rails, great condition. They are 174's and mounted at +4, but I will most likely be keeping the bindings. I'm selling because I'm trying to save for a longer ski. PM me if you want...

The problem with the Renos is I'm trying to find a ski for $300ish (I already have bindings), the Moments are a little bit pricier, unless someone had them used - which I haven't seen yet.

I'll probably try and sell the PE's more towards November. The problem with length is that I'm not finding too many skis that come in at 185 or longer. Most are stopping at 181, the STLs are 185, but it seems like they can't take much punishment...I'd rather a more durable, long lasting ski.

I don't see nearly the good reviews of the deviant as the PE, and while they may be longer, I feel like I'd be moving to a less durable and versatile ski - though I could be completely wrong...maybe if I read more and find some favorable reviews I'd rethink it.

What size all mountain skis are you on? Height/weight?
