    Cliffs in the northeast

There are some juicy drops at Jay. You gotta search around for them though. They're kinda in the middle of the woods. They have been manicured and cut so they can be dropped. Sizes range from 15-40 feet. Check out 'Prototype' at skibumproductions.com

    ski videos....the truth unfolds

I agree with the fact that people do not throw their best/most creative stuff in comps but... You say that 'anyone' can go get it, but 'anyone' doesn't go get it. These 'new guys' are the ones who get it and, if they are good, put it together in a creative and visually pleasing way. You cant...

    ski videos....the truth unfolds

What movies are you talking about? Also, there are a lot of small competitions that are not televised that not a lot of people get to see in person, are these comps 'ok' to film?

    who was there?

The comp, if held on the saturday instead of the sunday would have been sick. A ton of good skiers were there, Woods, Belanger, Hibbert etc., the practice on saturday was ridiculously nice. On sunday, you couldn't get an edge into the pipe or see 5 ft. in front of you; it sucked. They need a...

    who was there?

Tremblant should have 2 half pipes. if it still had the pipe under the flying mile chair the comp could have went off both years. The comp has been cancelled every year since they moved the park. I like the fact that the new park can open earlier in the year and stay open later but many other...

    tremblant seasons pass 200$

It's the best deal in the world. last year when i first heard about it i didn't believe until i had the pass in my hand. you only have to go 5 times to make it worthwhile. Unfortunately we already have 4 people but i might know some more people who want in but they're not sure yet. i'll let you...

    Shrab brothers

Dear All, I have watched this argument go on long enough, I would like to make a few points: 1. When did skiing/new schooling not include having some balls. I'm really tired of people saying that they'd rather see a big stylie 360 mute as opposed to some spinny flippy double thing. You might...

Response to the article CERTIFIABLE v.s PROTOTYPE

I can assure you that Steve Paul is a very good powder skier. What you cannot tell from the shot is that the pitch he is skiing is at least 45 degrees, and if you'll notice the speed at which he's skiing, I'd be damned if anyone other than McConkey or Morrison can make it look much better.

    best new skiers

we'll have both of them in our vid this year and Crichton will be in a lot of the major videos (PBP, Level 1 and i think MSP) and Hibbert will be in the level 1 vedeo and maybe some others.

    big long movie

This sounds like a great idea, I would definitely suggest DivX that way you could get two hours of reasonably high quality video onto one cd but i don’t think you’ll want to make the movie that long anyway. The only problem is that people that take the footage would have to send it in in DivX...
