I demoed both in Park City, UT this year, For all mountain I'd pick Foils, they handle a lot better on groomers.

I wear a-frames with a medium G10. I haven't noticed any gaps, and a-frames are a lot more comfortable fit with the helmet than Smith disciples.

G10 vs. G10 MX - the difference is just the visor. Otherwise it's the exact same helmet. Overall, I'd suggest to "try before you buy". If the helmet doesn't fit your head right, it's not worth wearing.

I am a big fan of my G10. (G10 MX is the one with the visor).
