uhhhh you can ski without an acl.... anyone older whos had their knees replaced has no ACLs and they shred a lot, just no tricks or jumps or anything.... you can definitley go out and carve up some corduroy. As long as you stay out of the park, you'll be cool.

Ive thrashed my meniscus's a few times and had them repaired when I had surgery for the ACL. Depending the size of the tear, they will either want to go in there and snip away some of the tear that's flapping away, or they'll want to stitch it up. If they just snip away a few frays to clean up...

I wouldnt say that. On any given day, I know at least half the skiers in the keystone park, and I missed 4 months last season. It's not as big and filled with pros as you think.
