The 1080s are great, but they definately arent Shin-Bang-Proof. I ride with em, but landing in the backseat gives me shinbang just like anybody else... dont get me wrong, I like the boot, just dont expect it to solve all the problems.

Every binding has a din setting in the front and in the back, most of the time you have to put a boot in to see the one in the back, because the heelpiece will cover it up. And marker bindings do have 3 screws, but only 2 affect the din, the last (bottom one on the back) is for minor...

Looks arent so great either. I had a pair decintegrate on me last year in like 3 crashes. Finally, the second time up this year they completely broke, and I couldnt get my boot in them anymore. Fortunately, I work in a shop, so I got a pair of markers cheap... but still, I was pissed.

Dont rip on him because hes never broken a pair of skis, he just got lucky. I ski the hell out of my skis, theyre a couple years old, they havent broken. Just because youre skis dont break doesnt mean you dont ski hard on them....
