i don't know about the prophet. i've seen them at squaw and the dude looked like he was riding a bronco or some shit with his legs 3 yards apart. but if you're looking for a prophet-sized ski I think the Volkl Sumos are pretty comparable. 125 at the waist and the graphics are much better.

some snowboard companies use a few layers of varnish or lacquer on their topsheets to prevent scratches. it may work.

gapper's are great...gapers are not.

G3's with T1's or any boot that is comparable. Dont' go softer than a T1. Don't get releasables because they're gay and break as much as Line's binding. Good luck.

mammoth's the most over-rated mountain. that place sucks shit except for park. move 3 hours north to tahoe and ski some real terrain.

actually the poster's question is a good one. the snow is going to suck some major ass soon and is going to be an ice block soon. i ride squaw and their park(s) only has about 4 tables and a couple of rails. not too great. i'm betting northstar should have a better park.

I delammed some old skogens a long time ago. I just called up Line and some chick was like, 'Send them back to us. Now what skis do you want us to send back to you?' They were super cool about it. Not sure now though.

$900 canadian = $740 us. that's a lot. who pays that much for a pair of skis? or should i say 3 skis? cheaper to get the K2's.
