    Crestted butte comp

i did the comp a few years ago. they may have some of the old info on the CB resort site so you can check out the lines and some pics as well. the main thing i would recommend is to learn how to huck in ALL conditions (ice, pow, etc.). you never know how the conditions will be during the...

    Bear Mtn

bear is all right. no terrian at all but they try to make up for it with their park. from USC it should take 2.5 hours with no traffic. it's really not that far. right now they have only one jump worth hitting (about 20 feet) and about 10-15 decent rails and boxes. i went up today and it...

    Chad's Gap?

if alta was going to destroy chad's for being too dangerous then they would have to blow the whole damn lot of grizzly gulch. it's not part of alta's in bounds terrain, which i'm sure doesn't make them liable for anything that goes on there outside of their cat operations.

    Mp3's n skking

just get a shitty ass mp3 player for about $50. i would be a little paranoid skiing with anything more expensive.

    Define poser

haha! seriously a poser doesn't necessarily have to have all the best gear and what not. it's more about the attitude. simply a person who acts like somebody they're not. hence the phrase "pose".

    First rail

    Ski Time = Terrible

^ agreed. how the fuck can you complain about a FREE skiing magazine? i thought it was an awesome magazine with a good start. of course things are going to be sketchy the first time around but overall i find myself reading Ski Time more than Powder or Freeskier just because of all the...

The Next true Big mountain Skier ??

there are big mountain skiers all over. like someone mentioned above, they just don't get the public and financial attention as park skiers. check out the big mountain comps at snowbird, kirkwood, crested butte, and the rest of the tour if you want to see some sick big mountain skiers.

    Lake Tahoe

^ he's right about northstar's park. much better than squaw's. squaw's park is super weak and only has a few tables that aren't even built that well. i heard they toned it down quite a bit because of some injuries a couple of seasons ago. but the terrain at squaw just kills northstar. sure...

    Lake Tahoe

Check out Tamarack Hotel in Tahoe City. it's pretty cheap - about $39 and is close to Squaw, Alpine, and Northstar (but who cares about Northstar). I stayed there while searching for an apartment last winter. Nice place with good service. I wouldn't stay in Reno. The drive seems much...

    ROLLERBLADING!!!!

all skiers against rollerblading are just plain blind. no matter how much you try to deny it skiing is very similar to rollerblading and definitely has roots from the sport (talking about the newschool scene). from the grabs to the spins to the names of tricks it's obvious where freeskiing was...

    Best Tahoe mountain

just a note. squaw doesn't open their boundaries so if you're looking to head into the BC from a resort don't go there. everywhere else is fine. if you're looking for both park and BC i would suggest alpine meadows. they have a nice park and easy access to some great backcountry as well.

I need tips on 360s(i can spin them but i land on my back or tails)

is it necessary to have photoshop or illustrator? from the site it seems as if you can submit a scaled drawing or anything else by hand.

    Soul Slide Unparalelled 2

as if you know all the tele skiers on newschoolers. you'd be surprised. for the movie..it's pretty old and is primarily big mountain. most of the riders are from the tahoe area and a lot of them used to work or were somehow connected with the Backcountry stores in Tahoe City and Truckee...
