snowboarding switch is much easier. It is just the same as normal once you get used to it. Skiing backwards is still skiing backwards even when you get used to it, you have to twist around a lot and your legs dont bend the right way.

I did a season in Val D'Isere and it was amazing. Chamonix I have been to about 5 times and it has excellent backcountry but for a season I would hit up Val. I hear that Mayrhofen in Austria is better if you want a good park.

yea man, I spent 5 months in Val D'Isere sleeping on floors before doing a degree and it was for sure the best 5 months of my life. Broke as a joke but getting so much ride time. yeeeaa. My parents thought it was a good idea too.

Flight from Italy to London, London to San Francisco, then SF to Whistler. Round about 30 hours total, but daaam was it worth it!
