It may be fine, but I would take em back, tell them what's up, and ask them to helicoil all the holes that are affected. The helicoils aren't entirely necessary, I'm sure the holes could still be appropriately threaded, but are just a precaution.
Or, how about the park staff asked us what was good and what needed improvements? If I hadn't been asked on the hill, I wouldn't have offered my opinion here.
Boot fitting is overrated. Shop guys will tell you it's necessary, and no doubt it is for a small minority, but to most people it's not worth it. I've heard these boots will give you super Hollywood Harris powers and make you ski as well as him.
