I use the soft protec hip pads. The pads don't get in your way. You feel a little bulkier in them but its worth it for how much pain they save you. No one will ever notice you are wearing them if your pants are even moderately baggy.

Line has made solid skis since from the beginning. I have the original pair of chronics-probably the most durable pair of skis I have ever seen; and a pair of darksides from back in the day-also really solid sticks. Really, the only skis line made that had problems were the original Invaders...

I got mine, ordered them from getboards. I agree that line has the best edges, I also have a pair of the original chronics and after two seasons of hitting rails there are still no edge cracks or even any major dents. The new chronics seem nice so far from what I can tell without skiing them...

Both are nice boots, the rampage is definitely more narrow fit. You really have to try them on and see which one you like, its the only way.

I have a brand new pair of black crest phenoms. but Im not sure I want to trade them, they are so nice.

I'm 6'3, 180 and I skied 177 chronics last couple seasons and honestly I felt that they were too short. I'm getting the new 181 chronics. Remember the longer you go the more swing weight you are going to have. I think that for us big guys anything between 180-185 would be ideal for park.

Their site doesnt mention anything about a day pass does it? If they had a day pass for the ramps I would be all over that.

They are making the regular chronic in 181 also.

I wonder if its worth it for me to drive 2.5hrs for this...?
