Dont' know about the forward pressure, would like to know that too. To answer your other questions, they take a little bit of force to rotate, they don't just freely swing around. If you are stepped in to the bindings it means that they are lined up. It wont let you in if they are off center.

Got the 181's they are bright orange with red righting. Super sick skis.

Just got back, it was sick. The jibs they had set up on the bunnyslope were definitely legit. I was surprised at how many features they had. It was better than the small park was all last year. The new 25ft flat bar rides real nice.

If your bindings are set according to the din chart they shouldn't come off that easily.

I would go with the prophets, just based on how many good things I have heard about them. Even Ski magazine, the magazine for old people, was going on about how amazing they are.
