Yup, used it to find my apt in SF and then in Seattle. Also found and sold some gear through it. I like the simpleness of it and it's moving to new cities. I think eBay may own it but I heard they aren't going to change it.

Not as much as I used to. Moved to Seattle recently and the ocean is 2 hrs away. When I was living in San Francisco I'd go quite often to OB and make trips to Santa Cruz. I do miss my motherland...CA. But I hear PacNW gets good amounts of snow, though I have yet to see it.

A few of us are making a road trip out to Mammoth in a couple weeks. I've stayed a Motel6 in the past years but they are booked up. Anyone know the next cheapest place besides relying on cougars and my own Jeep? Ex. Swiss Chalet, Holiday Haus, etc.

Yes. I take 80east, then 50east, then NV 207east, then 395south. I leave around 2:30am and (depending on weather and CHP) on the hill by 8:30-9am. It's more cost effective to stay a few days as well.
