I sell armada, but I have never tried Gotama so I can't say for sure. As you write, the arv's are pretty soft. I'm 188 cm and about 90 kg's, but I don't feel that the armadas are too soft. Still, I would rather ride my Armada ANT instead of those ARV's in backcountry. But in an allroundski ARV...

About your question, is this mark the center of my ski, I guess it's not. The brands put that on so that dealers have a certain point to work from. No ski that I have mounted has had that as the center. I mark it up, and work from there. So..that's my experience!
