I agree. I have an emerald as well and I use it as my all around lens from sun up to sun down. It's supposedly darker than pink but I've had no trouble with it at night. The color definitly is much different than shown on the oakley site, it looks just like the emerald they have in sunglasses...

these were made by rolllindeep and he said he used the same method that people use for lax heads(whether or not it was RIT dye i dont know), however he started with a white frame and i think that might be the only way for this to work. however the have since faded to this. still sick looking...
