i'm 5'4 135 lbs and i rock a pair of 178 volkl g4s and a pair of 175 pocket rockets. i like a stiffer ski so it will hold up in the crud and hard pack. but depending on your skill level and strength you mite want a softer ski. best thing to do is to go to a shop and demo several different skis...
