I'm down do do some urban, although I'm not the greatest at it. I definately want to go hit up Pyramid gap. Last year I went up there several times, but everytime something happened so I never got a chance to hit it.
They are the prophet 130's, just a different color than the ones that were released this year. Last year they had those black and white ones, but only 100 of them were made.
Many good rails can be found at various schools throughout the city. There are also several rails in and around the University. Like I said earlier, just look around. They are everywhere.
Do the things that I wanted to do this year that got fucked every time I tried to do them. (i.e. pyramid gap and making a video)
Also work on my switch tricks
I love my a-frames. Either go with an all around lens, like the blue iridium, or get a darker iridium lens for sunny days and really light lense for flatlight.
I've never seen an 1800 on snow, but one of my buddies was doing cork 1800s on the water ramps and sticking them last summer. It was cool that he could do it, but its too much spinning. He was just a big blur, we had to slow down the video just to see how much he was spinning.
This isnot the worst moment for me, but definately the worst for my buddy and the worst thing I have personally witnessed. We were up at pyramid gap this season and my friend was rediculously stoked, so we let him go first. He tried to 180 it on the first hit and cleared the gap, but landed on...
Generall if you throw it back it will be either cork or d-spin depending on how it is thrown, and to the front it is usually either bio or misty. There are several variations in the way you throw things that can change the trick, though.
That thing was sick. It was set up perfect, I wish they could let locals hit it, not just pros. The wilson flip (double underflip) was just rediculous to see, though.
