I usually get a Bird pass because they have awsome terrain and a decent enough (but not awsome) park to get you through days when the snow isn't very good.

If you want a good park get a Park City pass. For riding either get Snowbird or Alta. They have much better snow and terrain. Their parks are somewhat lacking, though. (Alta park = terrible, Bird Park = Ok)

I know Chad's is about 120' and Pyramid is the only gap that I know of above it, but its bout 90'. Leviathon is about 145' but it is not really above Chad's. It's more in the Flagstaff area. I don't know about this 180 footer above Chad's though.

There are definitely some park rats that can't ski anywhere else at the bird, but there are at every mountain. There are a lot of guys at the bird that rip harder than anyone else too.

I wasn't there on the last day, but JT Holmes base jumped off of Devil's Castle on Saturday (4-16-05). One of the threads on TGR has the video.

The baby thunder park isn't too bad, but later in the day the snow gets kind of sticky so its harder to get speed for the first two hits.

Pyramid is about 90 feet depending on where the jump is built and it has a clean inrun as well as two trees next ro the landing. Chad's is about 120 feet depending on jump placement and it has a much sketchier inrun and has more trees around it and some trees on the right side of the landing.

I was up in Grizzly about a week ago and Chad's is definitely still there. The jump is gone, but that can be rebuilt. If patrol dynamited the landing it just took the snow off of it and it has been covered up again by the snow we've had since then. The gap has not been filled in, either.
