Depends on your weight like ^^^that person said. But, for a reference, I have the PR in a 175, I weight 175 and am 6'0'. It's a great everyday ski at that length, but isn't stable enough to use on a big powder day...so I have other options for those 'special days'. But for 70 of the 100 days...

170 and you'll grow into em'. 180 is way too long for you in a modern ski.

who cares how tall you are....how much do you weigh? Oh, by the way. I'm 175lbs and ski 175 Pocket rockets, 180 Crossmax's, and the new addition this is 175 Salomon X-tra hots.... Todays skis are stiffer longitudenally and latterally, which creates better stability. I don't ski at mach 10...

Good point CJ....it'll be hard for them to make it for sure. Igneous skis barely made it for 4 or 5 years, then shut down. They were sweet skis too.....wish I could get a pair now.

The disadvantages of a long ski are underrated, overlooked. Believe it or not spinning is not the only advantage to a short ski. I know lots of guys 170lbs who's everyday skis are lengths 177, 175, 171 even....slalom skis in the 160's. On the contrary I know lots of guys who are on 188, 185's...
